GoExploreSA Business & Tourism Directory
Updated August 2026
PART I — TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the GoExploreSA website and its business and tourism directory services. By browsing the directory, creating an account, submitting a listing, or using a listing service, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. GoExploreSA Services
GoExploreSA provides an online directory intended to help people discover businesses, tourism services, accommodation providers, attractions and other legitimate services. Listings may include business information, descriptions, contact details, locations, images, operating information and other information supplied or approved for publication.
- Accommodation providers, including hotels, guesthouses and lodges.
- Restaurants, pubs and grills and other food-service businesses.
- Tour operators, attractions, shuttle and transport services.
- Vehicle and mechanical services, parks and related local services.
- Private doctors, clinics and other legitimate service providers.
- Other lawful businesses or organisations that fit the purpose of the directory.
3. Free and Paid Listings
GoExploreSA may make selected listing options available free of charge as a promotional or introductory initiative. A free listing is not necessarily a permanent service and may be changed, limited, suspended or withdrawn at GoExploreSA’s discretion, subject to applicable law and any specific agreement with the listing owner.
The existing paid package structure is: Basic (R100), Standard (R250), and Elite (R1000 per year). Package names, prices, features and promotional offers may be updated from time to time. The applicable price and features presented at the time of purchase will apply.
4. Listing Submission and Accuracy
- Business owners and authorised representatives must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading.
- The listing owner is responsible for checking business names, contact details, addresses, operating hours, prices, services, images and other submitted information.
- GoExploreSA may request clarification, supporting information or corrections before publishing a listing.
- A listing must represent a genuine business, service, attraction or organisation and must not impersonate another entity.
5. Listing Review, Editing and Removal
GoExploreSA may review submitted material before or after publication. To protect users and the integrity of the directory, GoExploreSA may edit formatting, request corrections, reject a submission, temporarily suspend a listing, or remove a listing where it reasonably believes that the listing breaches these Terms, contains misleading information, is unlawful, is fraudulent, or is otherwise unsuitable for the directory.
6. Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening or misleading content.
- Content that infringes another person’s intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.
- False business claims, fake identities, fake reviews or attempts to manipulate directory information.
- Malware, malicious code, spam or material intended to disrupt the website or other users.
- Content that is offensive or inappropriate for a general public business directory.
7. User Accounts and Security
Where an account is required, users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for activity carried out through their account. Users should promptly report suspected unauthorised access or security issues.
8. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Where payment is required for a listing or service, payment may be processed through the payment facilities made available by GoExploreSA. The current GoExploreSA policy identifies PayFast as a payment gateway and notes support for payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, EFT and SnapScan.
Unless otherwise stated for a particular service or required by applicable law, listing fees are non-refundable once the paid service has been activated. Any specific cancellation or refund terms displayed at checkout or in a written service agreement will also apply.
9. Intellectual Property
GoExploreSA’s logo, branding, website design and GoExploreSA-owned content remain the property of GoExploreSA or its respective rights holders. A business owner retains rights in material they own and submit, but grants GoExploreSA permission to use, reproduce, format and display that material for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the directory.
10. Third-Party Businesses and Customer Transactions
GoExploreSA is a directory and does not become a party to transactions between customers and listed businesses. Businesses are responsible for their own products, services, prices, availability, customer service, compliance and business practices. Customers should verify important information directly with the relevant business before making a purchase, booking or other commitment.
11. No Guarantee of Business Results
A listing on GoExploreSA does not guarantee enquiries, customers, bookings, sales, search-engine rankings, revenue or any particular business result. Directory visibility may vary depending on user interest, search behaviour, location, competition, website availability and other factors.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GoExploreSA is not responsible for the performance, conduct, availability or quality of a listed business, nor for disputes between businesses and customers or for services supplied by third parties. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Suspension and Termination
GoExploreSA may suspend or terminate access to an account or listing where there is a breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or misuse, unlawful activity, materially misleading information, or other conduct that may compromise the directory or its users. Where appropriate, a listing owner may be given an opportunity to correct the relevant information.
14. Changes to These Terms
GoExploreSA may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to its services, website, business practices or legal requirements. The latest version published by GoExploreSA will apply to future use of the services.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory legal rights and protections that apply.

5. Sharing of Information
GoExploreSA may share information with service providers that help operate the website or process transactions, including payment processors. The current policy identifies PayFast as a payment processor.
